Sales is fast. After sales is slow.
In selling, Thomann is very fast and ship the same day. In delivering, the speed depends on the courier, not on Thomann. Product quality is excellent. But . . . the after sales service, for example when an item needs to be returned/refunded, Thomann "service" contacts (they seem to have lots of personnel smoking out there near the cantine) are about twenty different email addresses, no kidding, for the customer to figure out which one to mail to. There is no single point of contact. Waiting time for replies are at least 4 working days! Time to resolve a return/refund takes at least 2 calendar weeks! My advice, always pay with paypal, which gives you buyers protection leverage when it comes to disputes.

Still the best
Second time I ordered from these guys (a pair of Marshall headphones) and I'm again amazed of their perfect organizing skills, delivery (I was kept informed by e-mail and SMS), product quality and stellar customer care. Good to note that I had a minor issue with a product accesory (cable) and asked them for repair/replacement but to be honest, due to the experience I had with other online stores, I did not expect to get any feasible solution (considering the distance/transport cost issues etc.). I'm glad I was wrong: they responded promptly, offered a free replacement and overall dealt with the issue perfectly. So now I'm waiting to receive the replacement and hope all will be fine. Anyway, up to now Thomann rocks !

I cannot praise this company high enough
I cannot praise this company high enough, but I did have a problem. I've never been a fan of buying from the internet, preferring to try things out at my local music shop. However, with things being as they are this was not possible so I took the plunge. My banjolele turned up on time, with great communication for both the sale and delivery. Unfortunately it was missing a specialist screw holding the backplate on. Not a great problem as there were three more, but still not complete.I contacted customer services and understood that they would have to source one from their supplier. Less that 2 week later the screw arrived. Once again, brilliant communication and problem solved, what more could you ask for.The banjolele is brilliant, I purchased a matching case at the same time which I thought was a bit expensive, but when it turned up I could see why. I have other ukulele cases, but this one is absolutely superb and puts the other in the shade.On my experience I would highly recommend this company and will certainly be using them again.

I have been shopping online for many years from different stores across the globe nut have never found any online shop like Thomman. The delivery time is quick, the store employes always trying to help you choose the right products without having in mind to sell you the most expensive ones. Also, the money back guarantee is the biggest plus you could find in music stores! I am not going back to any other store to buy my musical equipment!

I've used Thomann a total of three times and have always been satisfied with both the products and the service.I recently ordered a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-1770 Pros, and the product arrived within two days (from Germany to Denmark). There were two pairs of the same earpads (velour), and I wrote costumer service to enquire about the missing pleather pads.I promptly got a response and the pads are on their way.
