My holiday was cancelled due to corona and I was told I would get a refund within 28 days. I did get my refund on the 26th day. Very happy with Butlins, have been going twice a year for a few years now and have always had a good experience, the staff are always lovely and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

Butlin's Bognor Regis
I went to Butlins, Bognor Regis during the first week of September 2017. I went with my partner and my brother (all adults).We stayed in a Silver apartment. It was spacious and incredibly clean. Everything we needed for self catering was provided, although no wooden spoon. Would have come in handy but we'll know next time to bring one with us. The fridge freezer was one of those fridges with a small freezer compartment.Don't buy food from the shop onsite, it's very expensive. There's a Morrison's not far into town, we got all our food and alcohol from there. There's also an Iceland.We used Butlin's as a base during the day and went into town. The local cinema shows all the latest movies and is only £2.50 a ticket. There's also a pub nearby called The Punch & Judy, very cheap pints and free pool one day a week. We went there instead of paying for beer or pool at Butlin's.The evening entertainment was fantastic. No queuing for seats, so if going in term time don't bother with B line passes, would be a waste of money. They have rows of chairs in Centre Stage, so plenty of seats.We had an amazing holiday. If going with adults only, go during term time, use Butlin's like as a base and enjoy the free evening entertainment. Cheaper than staying in a hotel and way more fun. Highly recommended.

Holiday was great at butlins minehead. But brown water coming out of bath room taps, also had a shower nearly flooded because the people who had used it before us filled it with sand, twice we had to get the plumber

Excellent service at Butlins Skegness
We visited Butlins Skegness this weekend, I've been many times with my partner and two daughters and always had a great family break away, however on this particular visit it was brought to my attention how absolutely caring and genuine their staff are. The resort itself has been modernised over the years and has a great level of cleanliness and service, we stayed in a sliver apartment which was, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a self catering weekend.The range of entertainment from Pantos, funfair, arcades, shows, live performances and swimming is excellent quality and amazing value for money.On this particular visit my 9 year old daughter asked to go on the High Ropes, I was a little uncertain about letting her but she was keen and sounded confident that she could do it. My daughter suffers hugely with Anxiety, which means she is very reserved and unconfident, so in hopes that she builds on these areas I paid the £10 for her to have the experience in hopes that she gains from it.She was smiling when getting in her safety harness but once she got up the top in her group of 8 she froze and couldn't step out onto the High Rope course, I was standing watching from the ground as she shook with fear and tears rolled down her cheeks. Jordan her instructor had a large group but could see that Anneli needed more help and that she was scared. I watched him talk to her, ask her name and calmly give her options about the course, he encouraged her to face her fears and just take the first step forward, which after about 8 minutes of him encouraging her and me shouting up to her that she could do it and that she was safe she finally did. Jordan was running around the course keeping all the kids going and then running back to my daughter to check she was ok and giving her reassurance. After about another ten minutes she kept getting more confident, she was still shaking and looked relieved when she reached all the safe points. She was about half way around the course when Luke took over as her instructor and after about 2 minutes of making himself look silly to cheer her up he had her smiling and really enjoying the experience. She basically had one to one attention from both Luke and Jordan the whole hour+ that she was on the High Ropes! She could not have done it without their help, they were kind, considerate, empathetic, happy employees who went over and above what I had expected.... I paid £10 for this experience and got value for money that I have never experienced before. I'm truly grateful to both Jordan and Luke at the Skegness resort for the excellent experience that they provided. Watching my daughter face her fears made me a very proud mother and they made that happen.I would 100% recommend Butlins at Skegness and also the High Ropes experience.

Skegness Butlins May half term
We stayed at the Skegness Butlins caravan park ( we had the dog with us so couldn’t stay on site) for May Half Term 2018 . The Friday to Monday wasn’t too busy but the Monday to Friday was much much busier. Big queues for the pool and the shows. From this I shudder to think what the 6 week holidays would be like. The entertainment kept the kids busy and we are grateful for this. That said though the 2 big acts of the week for us were Andy and the Oddsocks (Andy from CBeebies) and D i c k and Dom’s Circus Showdown. Both though were not so great. With hindsight neither were worth queuing so long for. D i c k and Dom queueing and waiting was 3.5 hours in the end, for a 45 minute show, because they were stuck in traffic and started late. Had both these acts been performed by somebody not so famous though then they would have simply been ok and we certainly wouldn’t have queued at all. Andy did nothing related to CBeebies and that was why we were there after all.The on site shop is an a mix of reasonable and ridiculous. For example a box of Pringles often £1 in the supermarkets was £3.44, a pack of £3.50 nappies cost £8.06 and a bottle of 2 litre cola was £2.88. If you don’t have a car to go out to Morrison’s or Tesco then you are in for a very expensive week. However some other items in the shop were ok , you just had to look very carefully. So, overall I would recommend Butlins for the young family eg tots week, but not during school holidays. And don’t expect the CBeebies star to do what you think that they will be doing. You may well be disappointed.

Very Dissapointed with Butlins went…
Very Dissapointed with Butlins went with my kids to Bognor Regis for Milkshake Live Weekend. On the Day the show was supposed to be showing they Cancelled last minute saying that cast couldn't get down due to the virus. This was a birthday surprise for my daughter! And we still haven't received a letter or email of apology or no compensation.

60's weekend Skegness
Great weekend - acts fantastic apart from Tony Blackburn which was a total waste of time.Accommodation clean and good, nothing to fault.Queuing for access to event took two hours which was fine but many people saving places for other people, which should be sorted. We queued for two hours with only a dozen people ahead which ended up with 50 ahead - not fair. Definitely needs sorting.Most acts were above average and the atmosphere was amazing, would definitely return.

I really wanted to hate Butlins - but I don't
I really wanted to hate Butlins. My family have always presented as a little too toff nosed to go. However we are scraping the barrell presently and didn't want to leave our kids without a break so we booked in tots week. I was absolutely thrilled. The accomodation was a bit horrible but we didn't spend anytime in there as there was something for the kids every waking hour. This is exactly what my kids needed and skint or not we will definitely return because who doesn't need a week of entertainment for their sprogs! Shows were fab. Rides fab. Swimming fab, fab, fab. Play-doh epic.They were exhausted. I was less exhausted than usual. Total win. Food was so good I put on half a stone in 5 days. Nomnomnom.
